Leicester City, newly promoted to the Premier League, have rekindled negotiations with Crystal Palace to acquire Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew.

As Ayew approaches the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace is open to offers for the 32-year-old forward.

Leicester City have reportedly tabled a £4 million bid for Ayew, who has made 275 appearances for the Eagles.

Despite interest from various clubs, Leicester's head coach, Steve Cooper, is particularly eager to bring Ayew on board to strengthen the Foxes' attacking lineup.

Ayew, who previously played under Cooper at Swansea City, is valued for his Premier League experience and his international reputation with Ghana.

If an agreement on the fee is reached, Leicester will still need to finalize personal terms with Ayew to complete the transfer.

Jordan Ayew recently played in Crystal Palace's Premier League opener against Brentford and continues to train with the team as they prepare for their upcoming fixture against West Ham.
