Former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko has visited the registration centers of the Electoral Commission (EC) where the limited voters' registration exercise took place in the Lower Manya Krobo of the Eastern Region over the weekend.

At Nuaso Newtown where he visited first, he advised the Youth who were gathered to make sure they are registered to get the voters ID which is a key document that will give them active power in the democratic process and discussions in the country.

He entreated them to try as much as possible to learn how to peacefully coexist despite political differences since that is the only way Ghana can develop for a better future.

Mr. Agyarko accompanied with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality, Simon Kweku Tetteh met with some volunteers and executive members of the NDC at the Nuaso registration center where they had a friendly discussion before meeting the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) volunteers at the center.

Thereafter, he continued to the registration center at Ayemersu R/C School in the middle belt of the Municipality where he also briefly addressed the gathering at the center as he brought his day to a successful end at Ayemersu.

Addressing the media, he applauded the Electoral officers and the leadership of the 2 major political parties in the area for the high level of professionalism and maturity exhibited since the exercise started.
