The General Secretary of ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, has tasked the Electoral Commission (CE) to exercise patience with the citizens who are qualified and determined to have the voters ID cards since it is their right.
The NPP chief scribe made these known when he stormed three (3) of the Electoral Commission offices in the Krobo land area with some National and Regional officers of the party to monitor the progress of the ongoing Limited Voters' Registration exercise on Saturday.
John Boadu also called the situation he witnessed at Lower Manya Krobo Municipality as true manifestation of the growth in the democratic standards in Ghana.
He challenged all the MMDA'S to try to respect the rule of law for a peaceful coexistence during and after national elections for the development of the only Ghana we all have.
He started his tour from the Yilo Krobo Municipality where he was welcomed by Ebenezer Tetteh Kupualor, MCE for the area and some party executives before visiting the Electoral Commission offices where he expressed a high level of satisfaction at the operations at the Yilo Krobo Constituency electoral commission office.
The General Secretary of the NPP continued to Asuogyaman District where they also visited the Electoral Commission office in the area before ending their very busy day at the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality.
Mr John Boadu used the opportunity to engage with some of the new voters who are in ready to be registered before meeting with the leadership of the Electoral Commission in the area.
He was welcomed by NPP faithfuls led by Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE and Charles Kwesi Borkor, Lower Manya Krobo Constituency Chairman of the NPP.
