He says the manner the 22 years reign of The Gambian President Yahya Jammeh was brought to an end by the citizens is worth repeating in Ghana.
'The young guys have you found any work doing?' he asked hundreds of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters at the party's national rally held at the forecourt of the Ghana International Trade Fair Center in Accra on Sunday.
‘I’m from same town as Mahama, but will vote for Akufo-Addo’ – Jinapor
An Aide to New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says despite hailing from the same town as President John Mahama, he will vote against him.
John Jinapor says he would not be blinded into voting for the President who is the flagbearer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) because he is a northerner.
He says Ghanaians have for the past eight years been wallowing in economic hardship because of what he described as bad policies of the NDC.
“I am a Northerner, a Gonja like President Mahama and a descendant of the Great Sumaila Ndewura Jakpa but will vote for Nana Akufo-Addo,” he said.
Mr Jinapor made these remarks when he addressed several hundreds of NPP supporters at the party’s national rally held at the forecourt of the Ghana National Trade Fair Center in Accra.
