The Vice Chairperson of the Normalization Committee has sharply contradicted their spokesman insisting the Ghana FA's sponsorship contract with Zylofon Cash is NOT MISSING.
Lucy Quist has confirmed that she has seen the agreement between the federation the the company that sponsored the Ghana Premier League last year.
The sharp contradiction between the vice chairperson and their spokesman Dan Kweku Yeboah is a big embarrassment for the body that has been tasked to normalise football in the country.
While the Normalisation Committee is bent on reforming football in the country, its spokesman looks not to be on top of issues, spreading falsehood or just keen on blaming everything on the previous administration of Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Kweku Yeboah sparked a frenzy last week when he claimed that the Zylofon Cash sponsorship contract for the Ghana Premier League cannot be found at the premises of the Ghana Football Association.
This was widely meant that something fishy had gone on with the contract that is why it had gone missing to avoid any scrutiny.
However, Madam Quist who is keen on the truth while they undertake the reforms, implies the public has been widely misinformed as she has sighted the contract between the two parties.
"There is nothing like that (the missing contract) except there is no league running," Quist said in the Super Morning Show on Monday.
It will be recalled that Zylofon Cash was unveiled as the headline sponsor for the country's topflight on May 17, 2018 at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra.
The then Kwesi Nyantakyi's administration agreed a mega five-year deal worth $10 million with the Ghana Premier League.
However, the Ghana Premier League abruptly came to an end after the airing of the 'Number 12' video by Anas Aremeyaw Anas on June last year.
