John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to undertake a five-day official visit to South Korea from March 10 to March 14, aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
In a statement issued by the Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the President will depart Accra on Sunday to begin the trip.
During the visit, President Mahama will hold bilateral discussions with the President of South Korea, Lee Jae Myung, focusing on expanding cooperation in key areas of mutual interest.
The Ghanaian leader is also expected to meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly of South Korea, Woo Won-shik, as part of efforts to deepen parliamentary and diplomatic relations.
As part of his itinerary, President Mahama will attend a ship-naming ceremony at the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in Ulsan.
He will also deliver an address at a special event at Yonsei University.
In addition, the President is expected to meet members of the Ghanaian community living in South Korea and hold a dinner meeting with business leaders to discuss potential investment and trade opportunities between Ghana and South Korea.
