Majeed Waris gives back to childhood club in Tamale

FC Nantes striker Abdul Majeed Waris has donated football equipment to his childhood club Standfast Academy in Tamale.
The 27-year old donated football equipment such as jerseys, soccer nets, cones to the Tamale based team during his official visit to the team on Tuesday.
He also presented an undisclosed amount to the management of the team after the donation.
Waris joined Nantes in the French Ligue 1 on loan from Portuguese top-flight side FC Porto in 2018, capping 35 matches as an attacker.
He was part of the Black Stars 29-provisional man list for the AFCON 2019 in Egypt but was excluded in the final 23-member squad.
