Heart of Lions set the tone on Friday with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars at the Kpando Sports Stadium, thanks to goals from Kwadwo Obeng Junior, Michael Ephson, and Anthony Owusu.

Aduana FC maintained their strong early-season form, grinding out a 1-0 win over Dreams FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park. Daouda Sidibé’s late strike in the 85th minute sealed all three points for the Ogya Boys.

Defending champions Medeama SC also secured a narrow 1-0 triumph over Swedru All Blacks at the Akoon Park, with Kamaradini Mamudu finding the net in the 73rd minute.

At the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, FC Samartex extended their fine run with a 2-0 win over Hohoe United, as Clinton Kumi bagged a second-half brace to keep the Timber Boys in the top four.

Karela United produced a surprise 2-0 victory against Bechem United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, with first-half goals from Abdul-Raman Yaya and Bless Ege sealing a comfortable result.

In the capital, Hearts of Oak were held to a thrilling 2-2 draw by Bibiani GoldStars at the Accra Sports Stadium. Mawuli Wayo opened the scoring for the Phobians, but a quickfire double from Kumi Attah turned the game around before George Paaku equalised to earn Hearts a point.

Nations FC edged Eleven Wonders 3-2 in a pulsating clash at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex. Emmanuel Annor stole the spotlight with a hat-trick, while Frank Awere and Daniel Lomotey netted for the visitors.

At the Wenchi Sports Stadium, Young Apostles battled Berekum Chelsea to a 1-1 draw. The hosts recovered from an own goal through Issah Huseine’s 71st-minute leveller.

The much-anticipated fixture between Vision FC and Asante Kotoko was postponed due to Kotoko’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.

After seven rounds, Medeama SC, Aduana FC, Heart of Lions, and FC Samartex occupy the top four positions, while Dreams FC, Eleven Wonders, and Basake Holy Stars remain in the relegation zone.
