Maxwell Baakoh makes debut for new club Cermamica Cleopatra

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko winger Maxwell Baakoh made his debut for his new club FC Ceremica Cleopatra on Friday 11th December, 2020.

His side defeated El-Entag El-Harby away from home by two goals to nil in their Egyptian Premier League opener.

Strangely enough two of his compatriots namely Kwame Bonsu and Winfred Cobbinah who signed before Maxwell Baakoh were not even included in the match day squad.

The former Karela United winger was introduced into the game after the hour mark as replacement for Mohammed Mosaad.

Sherif Dabo gave Ceramica Cleopatra the lead from the spot in the 42nd minute before Mohamed Mosaad doubled their lead in the 58th minute.

Baakoh joined the ambitious club this transfer window on a free transfer after rejecting a new deal from Asante Kotoko.
