Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Maxwell Konadu has been effusive about the performance of his boys despite suffering a heartbreaking 1 nil defeat at the hands of Aduana Stars at the last minute in Dormaa on Wednesday.

The porcupine warriors cross swords with the Ogya boys at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park where there was a lot of drama from both sides on the field of play.

Both sides had to play the entire duration of the first half with a man less despite none of them being sent off in the game with the reasons been linked to superstitions and spiritual under hand dealings that has characterised our game.

"It was a very difficult match and It was keenly contested and I think both teams played very well but to really talk of who did really did well I think Kotoko played much much better than what Aduana Stars did."

"But at the end of the day they had the chance to score. I will have to congratulate my boys they played to instructions they did their very best just that we lost at the die minute of the 90 minutes."he added.
