Ghana U20 head coach Maxwell Konadu has released a third batch of 30 players for the ongoing talent screening exercise at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The new group is expected to report to camp on Monday, December 1, 2025, as preparations intensify for the 2026 WAFU Zone B U20 Championship. This phase follows the completion of assessments for the first two batches, who have already undergone evaluations at Prampram.

Purpose of the Screening

The exercise forms a central part of the technical team’s long-term plan to:

  • Assemble a strong and competitive Black Satellites squad.

  • Assess a wider pool of emerging talents by inviting players in phases.

  • Ensure every promising youngster has the chance to fight for a place in the national setup.

Looking Ahead

The process will continue in the coming weeks as Ghana seeks to build a balanced, high-performing team capable of challenging for honours at the WAFU tournament and beyond.

This phased approach reflects Konadu’s determination to broaden Ghana’s youth talent base, ensuring the Black Satellites are well-prepared for regional and continental competitions.
