The 25-year-old opened the scoring at Boras Arena, giving his side an early lead despite later being reduced to ten men.
Baidoo found the back of the net just 12 minutes into the match after connecting with a pass from Kosovo international forward Arber Zeneli. His goal gave Elfsborg an early advantage in the round 24 fixture.
However, Norrkoping equalized in the 56th minute through Swedish forward Carl Bjork, with Moutaz Neffati providing the assist.
Shortly after, substitute David Moberg Karlsson put the visitors ahead, but Elfsborg quickly responded.
Kenya international midfielder Timothy Ouma restored parity for Elfsborg in the 73rd minute, with an assist from Simon Hedlund.
The home side faced an uphill battle after Nigerian defender Ibrahim Buhari was sent off as early as the 17th minute, leaving them to play the majority of the match with ten men.
Despite the numerical disadvantage, Elfsborg held on for a draw.
Ghana U23 defender Terry Yegbe also played a full 90 minutes for Elfsborg in the encounter.
Baidoo’s goal brings his season tally to 11 goals and 8 assists across 32 appearances in all competitions, further cementing his key role in the team’s campaign.
