English-born Ghanaian forward Michelle Agyemang has completed a season-long loan move to Brighton & Hove Albion Ladies from Arsenal.

The 18-year-old, who has represented England at youth levels, is set to gain more regular playing time with the Seagulls in the upcoming season.

Agyemang, who progressed through Arsenal’s youth system, made her senior debut for the London club in 2022 during a Women's Super League match against Leicester City.

She scored her first goal for the Gunners in January 2023, finding the net in an FA Cup game against Leeds United.

Brighton head coach Dario Vidosic expressed his excitement about Agyemang’s arrival, praising her attacking qualities.

“We’re delighted to welcome Michelle to the club. She is a goalscorer and an excellent playmaker,” Vidosic said.

“Her talent and potential are clear to see, and she will give us another exciting option in attack. We're looking forward to seeing what she can add to our team this season.”

Though born in England to Ghanaian parents, Agyemang remains eligible to represent Ghana's Black Queens at the senior international level.

This summer, she was part of the England U19 squad that reached the semi-finals of the UEFA European Women's U19 Championship.
