Ghana international Mohammed Kudus made his long-awaited return from suspension on Tuesday night, but it wasn't the result he had hoped for as West Ham United fell 3-1 to Leicester City in the English Premier League.

Kudus had been serving a five-match suspension following a red card incident in October during a 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

After completing the suspension, he was included in West Ham's starting lineup for the Week 14 clash at Leicester City.

The Black Stars forward delivered a solid performance, earning a commendable rating of 7.6 for the 79 minutes he played.

Despite his efforts, West Ham were unable to secure a positive result.

Leicester City, under their new manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, dominated the match with Jamie Vardy opening the scoring in the first half.

Bilal El Khannouss and Patson Daka added second-half goals to seal the 3-1 victory. Niklas Fullkrug’s late goal for West Ham was merely a consolation.

As Kudus looks to regain his form following his suspension, he will be eager for more opportunities to contribute to his team’s success in the upcoming fixtures.
