Tottenham Hotspur forward Mohammed Kudus has expressed his delight at joining a club he believes has the pedigree to challenge for every major trophy.

The Ghanaian international made an instant impact in Spurs’ 3-0 win over Burnley in Saturday’s Premier League opener, marking his full debut with two assists.

Speaking to Spurs Media after the game, the 25-year-old highlighted the competitive spirit within the squad and his determination to grow further.

“I am really glad to be in an environment like this with a high level of work and competitiveness to challenge for every trophy," Kudus said.

“With the help of the team, they’ve really helped me settle in quite well. I still have a lot to improve, a lot to show more.”

Kudus will hope to build on his bright start when Spurs travel to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, August 23, to face defending champions Manchester City, with kick-off scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
