Mohammed Kudus has outlined his ambitions for the season with Tottenham Hotspur, declaring that winning silverware is his top priority as he looks to help end the club’s long-standing domestic drought.
The Ghana international, who joined Spurs in a £55 million transfer from West Ham, is determined to build on last season’s Europa League triumph — a continental success that came despite 17 years without a domestic trophy.
“We play in almost all the competitions this season… so winning a trophy would be a successful season,” Kudus told Sports Illustrated.
Beyond lifting silverware, Kudus is also focused on securing a top-four finish to return Spurs to the UEFA Champions League:
“Finishing top four is a very reasonable challenge for us this season.”
Under new manager Thomas Frank, Kudus has quickly become a creative engine in Tottenham’s attack and producing great numbers in chances created as he has notched three assists in six Premier League games this season.
His vision, ball progression, and attacking flair have added a new dimension to Spurs’ midfield and attack, complementing the likes of Brennan Johnson and Brazilian star Richarlison.
Kudus’ form also "bodes well" for Ghana’s World Cup qualifiers, with the Black Stars needing just four points from their final two matches to book a ticket to North America 2026.
