Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus announced his arrival in style at Tottenham Hotspur, registering two assists in a dominant 3-0 victory over Premier League returnees Burnley on Saturday.

Making his first start since sealing a summer move from West Ham United, the 25-year-old wasted no time in making his mark.

In the 10th minute, Kudus delivered a pinpoint cross that was expertly finished by Brazilian forward Richarlison to hand Spurs a 1-0 lead at the break.

After the restart, the former Ajax star was once again the provider, picking out Richarlison inside the area for a spectacular acrobatic strike that doubled the advantage.

Welsh forward Brennan Johnson then wrapped up the win in the 66th minute, completing an impressive outing for Thomas Frank’s men.

Kudus, who came off to a warm reception in the 85th minute for French youngster Mathys Tel, will now be looking to cement his spot in the starting XI when Spurs travel to the Etihad Stadium to face 2023/24 champions Manchester City next weekend.
