President of TP Mazembe, Moise Katumbi has denied allegations of bribing goalkeeper of Zimbabwe Elvis Chipezeze.
Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) needed a win in their last group game against the warriors of Zimbabwe to book qualification to the next round.
DRC defeated the warriors 4 nil with goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze been at fault for almost all the goals conceded.
This led to speculations of TP Mazembe benefactor, Moise Katumbi paying a large stash of cash as bribe to the Baroka Swallows goalie.
The man at the centre of the bribery storm Moise Katumbi has taken to twitter to deny the allegations.

His tweet translates : "The 'journalists' who invent grotesque cases of match corruption #CAN2019 discredit their profession. Sad! I wasn't in Egypt when they would have 'seen me the day before the game'. I am a lover of sport who always defends merit - fairness!"
DR Congo will face Madagascar in their round of 16 clash on Sunday 7th of July.
