The Member of Parliament for Nsawam/Adoagyiri Hon Frank Annoh-Dompreh has presented hospital items worth Ghc 30, 000 from his own resources to the Accident and Emergency Ward of the Nsawam Government Hospital, the Notre Dame Clinic at Adoagyiri and the Nsawam Othopedic Training Center (OTC ).

The items include plasters, bandages, gauze and normal saline , which are used for dressing of wounds and bruises.

Speaking to Journalists, Frank Annoh-Dompreh said the presentation of the items is aimed at promoting health care delivery at the three health facilities for the benefit of his constituents and people from nearby Communities.

Hon Frank Annoh-Dompreh has offered support on different occasions to the Nsawam Government Hospital such as provision of chairs to the Out Patients Department (OPD), donation of Ghc 50, 000.00 towards the commencement of work on the construction of a new 50-bed capacity maternity block and support for refurbishment of the accident and emergency ward of the hospital.

Mr Philip Quarshie Chief Physician Assistant at the Notre Dame Clinic said about 100 patients daily receive health care at the facility and added that the Clinic needs a detention ward to take care of patients.

He also thanked Hon Annoh-Dompreh for his support.

Pharmacist Mrs Grace Attah-Adzepong Head of Pharmacy at Nsawam Government Hospital commended Hon Frank Annoh-Dompreh for his support to the Hospital.
