Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Myron Boadu found the net for Bochum, but his goal was insufficient to avert a 3-1 home defeat against Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Boadu, who is on loan from Monaco, showcased his talents by playing 88 minutes and standing out as one of Bochum's key performers despite the setback.

The match began with Wolfsburg taking the lead in the 21st minute, as Tiago Tomas scored following a setup from Mohamed Amoura.

The visitors doubled their advantage in the 37th minute when Jonas Wind netted his first goal, once again assisted by Amoura.

Wind later capped off a strong performance by scoring his second goal in the 88th minute, sealing the victory for Wolfsburg at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion.

In a bid to inspire a comeback, Boadu struck for Bochum in the 72nd minute, converting a pass from Moritz Broschinski.

However, his effort proved too late to change the outcome of the match.

The 23-year-old forward has now accumulated two goals and one assist in five appearances for Bochum this season.
