Aspiring National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Baba Jamal says the Nation’s Builders Corp by government will at the longrun be used as an “avenue for corruption” by public officials.

The initiative by government is to solve the staggering number of graduate unemployment in the country.

But according to the former MP for Akwatia, the nabco concept is not new and should not be celebrated as the same module that exists under the Youth Employment agency making it a duplicate of the sort.

“Is nabco new? This government is cunning and deceitful. What is really new about nabco? In the first place why haven’t they posted the 100,000 youth they told us about? But nabco is actually not any different thing. It is another way to corruption” he told sit-in host Akwasi Nsiah on Anopa Kasapa.

He added:”If you look at the modules under the NABCO, the YEA is already into that; talk of education, health, agriculture with all the rules and organization properly passed by parliament”.

He argues that Nabco in it form and shape does not have any legislation backing it and therefore makes it a vehicle of corruption by public officials to loot and share.

Baba Jamal has however asked delegates of the NDC to vote for intelligent and experienced officials as the party goes to elect its national executives on Saturday.

“The party need intelligent minds and not only that but well experienced individuals who can run the party, efficiently and effectively”.
