Veteran football administrator, Nana Fitzgeraldy Bakers Wood has blasted Black Star coach Kwesi Appiah over the latter's player selection for AFCON.

Nana Fitz says the coach has not shown any sign of bravery in the way of handling affairs in the team.

Kwesi Appiah on Monday made his 23-man squad for the afcon, with  no outfield player from the domestic league.

But the astitute football administrator believes some big names named in the squad do not deserve to be there.

"Coach Akwasi Appiah is a coword because he can't take decisions on his own even in his selection of players," he said in an interview with AshFm.

"I don't trust Coach Akwasi Appiah because he is a caword and does not deserve to be the Black Stars coach".

Some football pundits have criticised the coaches selection and habe questioned the criteria used.

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan became the only player picked from the domestic league, with teammate Abdul Fatawu and Hearts of oaks' Mohammed Alhassan dropped.

Kwesi Appiah is yet to come out with what inforned his selection as the team continues  their preparation in Dubai.
