Nana Kofi Donkor fires Dinamo Tbilisi to crucial League Victory

Ghanaian youngster Nana Kofi Donkor delivered another impressive performance on Thursday night, scoring to help FC Dinamo Tbilisi secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Spaeri FC in the Georgian Erovnuli Liga.
The 19-year-old played the full 90 minutes in the Round 9 encounter at the iconic Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, producing a composed display as Dinamo Tbilisi strengthened their push in the league campaign.
The hosts started brightly and were rewarded in the 29th minute when Donkor opened the scoring with a confident finish after being set up by Saba Kharebashvili.
Dinamo doubled their advantage just five minutes later through Mate Vatsadze, who converted from close range following an assist from Nikoloz Ninua to give the home side firm control before halftime.
After the break, Dinamo Tbilisi managed the game well and limited Spaeri FC’s attacking threat for long periods, although the visitors pulled one back late in the contest through Zurab Golubiani in the 82nd minute.
Despite the late pressure, Dinamo held on to claim all three points in front of their home supporters.
For Donkor, the strike marked his second goal of the season after nine league appearances in the 2026 Erovnuli Liga campaign, underlining the steady progress of the Ghanaian teenager in Georgian football.
