Nations FC climbed to third place in the league table with a commanding 3-1 win over Basake Holy Stars on Sunday. The home side delivered an impressive performance to secure all three points in front of their fans.

Captain Razak Simpson set the tone early, giving Nations FC the lead in the 7th minute.

Winger Faisal Charwatey, continuing his fine run of form, doubled the advantage five minutes into the second half.

Basake Holy Stars fought back briefly, with Emmanuel Agyei pulling one back for the visitors. However, Emmanuel Annor sealed the win for Nations FC with a late strike in the 87th minute.

The victory propels Nations FC to third place on the table with 29 points from 16 games, while Basake Holy Stars remain in 11th position with 18 points.
