Director of women entrepreneurship development department of the NBSSI, Ms Habiba Sumani,  highlighted the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and called for  more capacity building programmes on Branding and marketing.

Participants were introduced to various topics including social media marketing as a means of promoting their brands and expanding their reach.

The meeting  brought together women entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, business experts, media, investors to the Fiesta Royale Hotel.

Research Manager of Innovations for Poverty Action(IPA), Santiago Sanchez Guiu was also there to moderate a panel discussion on challenges in accessing domestic and foreign markets.

Fund Manager for Business Advocacy Fund (BUSAC) Nicholas Gebare, attended the meeting and pledged his outfit's support for women entrepreneurs.
