The Founder of the Glorious Power Ministries International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, has advised Former President Jerry John Rawlings to ignore apologies from members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to him, some people in the party have shown gross disrespect to him, and therefore do not deserve forgiveness.
Speaking to Okay FM on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, he stated that until the members fervently pray to God, it will be long before they return to power.
He went on to say that the fact that the founder of the party and his wife have been sidelined means that there is no order in their (NDC) house.
To him, as the Bible instructs Christians to honour their parents, the party’s refusal to heed to the instruction will come with dire consequences.
A Vice Chairperson of the party, Anita Desosoo, publicly apologized to Rawlings for the offences committed against Rawlings.
This occurred when she went on her knees during the celebration of 39th anniversary of the June 4 revolution.
Speaking on the matter, the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah said that Desosoo’s apology was on her own behalf and not the party.
This, he explained, is because the party has not officially reached a decision to apologize to Rawlings.
