NDC Member of Parliament for Ho West in the Volta region, Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, has written to the Speaker of Parliament informing him of his decision to resign from parliament.

Bedzrah, a Ranking Member for the Government Assurance Committee, and also a Chairman of the Parliamentary Christian Fellowship has not yet given his reasons for his decision to quit his Parliamentary duties but StarrfMonline.com sources say the move has been triggered by disagreement between the MP and his constituency executives.

Reports indicate that minority members in Parliament are frantically trying to convince Bedzrah from resigning.

Bedzrah is a Development planner, Architect and Quantity surveyor by profession.

He was born on September 11, 1949 and hails from Bowiri-Anyinase in the Volta Region.

He holds a Diploma in Education which he acquired at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana’s Central Region in 1980, an Ordinary Technician Diploma (OTD) from the Takoradi Polytechnic in 1988, an Advance Diploma in Quantity Surveying from Ellis School of Building Worcester, England in 1992, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Ghana, Legon in 2003 and a Master’s degree in Development Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) from 2010 to 2012.
