Majority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has issued a caustic reply to the Minority for claiming majority seats in the Legislative House.

On Tuesday, 5th January, 2021, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo delivered his end of term nation address on the floor of Parliament.

The address also marked the dissolution of the 7th Parliament which will happen on Wednesday night, January 6.

After the President's State Of The Nation Address, the Minority Leader, Haruna Idrrisu in reaction indicated that the Minority will become the majority as they anticipate to win the Techiman South Parliamentary seat and others that are still in contention.

But Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, in an interview with sit-in host Nana Yaw Kesseh on Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo'' called the bluff of the Minority Leader.

He advised the Minority to wake up to reality as currently, they don't hold the majority.

''It's speculative reasoning. You're thinking about tomorrow. We're talking about today and you're saying you anticipate to win a seat or two tomorrow and when I win, I will have the majority. It is true that if they win the seat, they will have the majority but we are not there yet. We're talking about today'', he said.
