The Editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has called on delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to maintain their ‘problematic’ General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.

According to the veteran Journalist, maintaining Asiedu Nketia is more ‘sensible option’ than voting an immature person like his contender, Koku Anyidoho.

Speaking on a flagship morning show program dubbed Kokrokoo on Peace FM Wednesday, Kwaku Baako said: “the two options are all problematic but I think he [Asiedu Nketia] is more matured, more articulate as against Koku Anyidoho”.

Koku Anyidoho is seeking to unseat the incumbent Asiedu Nketia at the party’s congress to be held next month.

The battle between the two have become very heated up with many fearing their supporters may clash at the party’s delegates conference.

Former Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Bernard Allotey Jacobs is leading crusade for delegates to vote Asiedu Nketia whom he labels as ‘arrogant’ and ‘indiscipline out of power.

“I believe that Asiedu Nketia has become arrogant and very indiscipline, when we are in a meeting, he can even snatch microphone from the hands of National Chairman, I was shocked at this and that was when I saw that his end has come…,” Allotey said on Peace FM a fortnight ago.

Kweku Baako however disagrees as according to him, Asiedu Nketiah is the lesser among the two evils.

To him, Asiedu Nketiah is more matured and will better serve the NDC party’s interest.
