The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese constituency, Felix Kwakye Fosu has lost his bid to enter parliament.

He lost by a small margin to the New Patriotic Party's Elvis Morris Donkoh by a paltry 176 votes.

It was a hotly contested race which went very close between the two candidates but the NPP's candidate edged it.

A magnanimous Felix Kwaky Fosu conceded and posted a message on his social media handle accepting the results of the ballot.

Felix Ofosu Kwakye polled 24,872 votes while the NPP’s candidate garnered 25,048.

In a post, he wrote, “It was so close yet so far for me.I lost by176votes.Congratulations Elvis Morris Donkor and better luck to me next time.”

“I am also deeply grateful to all of you out there who supported my bid in diverse ways,” he further thanked his constituents.
