New year resolutions with a twist

As we approach the new year, we all start planning how we want our year to be. We think about things we don't want to do and things we want to focus more on. While it is safe to assume that all a woman wants is a svelte body, because of the constant pressure she feels to be of a certain weight and size, it may not be too close to reality.
We randomly asked 9 women about their health resolutions and we were pleasantly surprised to know that their resolutions were not centered around weight loss. Here they are:

Shikha Kansal, 28 year old, PR professional:2018 was all about work, work and work. While I was rewarded professionally, in the bargain, my personal life and goals suffered. I took only one vacation the whole year and I want 2019 to be different. I don't want to be sitting in my cubicle brooding over vacation pictures shared by my friends.

3/10"I will focus on myself"

Smita Shukla, 37 year old, Media professional:I am done with thinking about how others will feel and accordingly respond to situations. This year will be all about myself. I will not fear hurting others, if it means putting my happiness above all. I will live for myself.

4/10"I will break up with my phone"

Kalpana M, 35 year old, Software engineer:I have realised that I invested a lot of myself in my phone, with social media to Whatsapp eating up a lot of my quality hours, which I could have utilised constructively to do things that are near my heart. 2019 will be an year of mobile phone detox for me.

5/10"Spending more time with my family"

Gunjan Sinha, 27 year old, photographer:This fleeting thought about my parents ageing has become too big in my head. In 2019, I will make it a point that I visit my parents more often and show them places and things they haven't seen before. They invested their life to make me grow and shine, it is my time to be their caregiver now.
