Ace Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, is praising Ghana citing that the country seems to be developing faster than Nigeria.

The actress made the observation during her trip to Ghana for the 2018 Edition of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) which was held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday, November 24.

Making reference to the history of Nigeria sending Ghanaians back to Ghana in the 1980s, which was referred to as “Ghana Must Go,” Omotola noted that Ghana has truly left her country behind.

She sighted Ghana’s new Terminal 3 at the Kotoka International Airport and the cedi’s strength against the Nigerian naira as clear indications that the country is doing better than Nigeria.

In a post on Instagram, she said: “Okay... So Economists, come and analyze oh... this Amongst other things was quite alarming on my trip to Ghana.”

According to her, “Hmm... I changed N10,000 (Ten thousand Naira) and it was only worth .....C120 ( One hundred and twenty cedis) Not C1,200 and certainly not 12,000 cedis but a mere 120 cedis!!! 1 dollar in ghana is 4.8 cedis!”

“#Ghanamustgo and they have Gone, are they moving faster than us? I don’t want to talk about the airport , Tubaba has already talked about that but I forgot both my phones while signing the immigration cards, about 10mins later, it was announced to pick them up at guest services! Ha! #GiantofAfrica ? #Getbusy #Getbusy #Getbusy ???. Abi? I’m I missing something?” Omotola concluded.

Multiple award-winning Nigerian musician 2Baba Idibia (2Face), who was also in Ghana for AFRIMA, also spoke highly of Ghana’s new Terminal 3 at the Kotoka International Airport.

“Shebi you dey see level abi? Shame no dey catch some people for that side,” he said in the video.

Omotola and 2Baba join a host of other Nigerian entertainment personalities who have praised Ghana for the airport.

Nigerian gospel act, Ebenezer Benjamin, who is famous for the hit song “Victory,” was amazed by the facility while Nollywood actor, Kanayo O Kanayo also said, “Hello friends, good morning. This is NOT Europe, It is Kotoka International Airport, Accra, World Class in Africa. Kudos Ghana.”
