Asante Kotoko midfielder Richmond Lamptey says that nothing is impossible after scoring and helping his side break a long standing hoodoo at Dormaa.
The porcupine warriors have failed to beat Aduana Stars at their dreaded Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa since they gained promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
Before the game, Kotoko had lost 1-0 to King Faisal in the round of 64 clash in the MTN FA Cup game at the Baba Yara Stadium with some violent scenes recorded after the game.
Many had predicted doom and gloom for Kotoko with a tough round of games ahead starting with the Aduana clash but the porcupine warriors had other ideas.
A close range finish from Georges Mfegue and a clincher from the mercurial Richmond Lamptey was enough to hand Kotoko their first three points from the Dormaa Park in a Ghana Premier League game.
The former WAFA, Inter Allies midfielder took to his twitter handle to wish his follower a happy new year whiles adding nothing is impossible.
"Officially, Happy New Year to the Porcupine family. Nothing is impossible." he wrote
