Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama has asked Ghanaians not to reward the New Patriotic Party (NPP) with another electoral success on December 7.

According to the former President, the ruling government has performed badly and does not deserve another term in office.

Mr Mahama made the call while addressing constituents in Wa West of the Upper West region as part of his campaign tour ahead of the 2024 election.

He said the past eight years have been a difficult experience for Ghanaians who should be aware of the performances of the two main political parties.

“If the NPP wins this year’s elections, it will show that any political party can mess the country’s economy and still win elections,” he said.

He charged the gathering to join other Ghanaians to reject and desist from committing what he describes as impunity.

Mr Mahama said he believes the youth of the country do not have time to try any leader who is inexperience and lack proper developmental vision.

The former President maintained that a good leader is the one who tells the truth and not just give sweet promises.

Mr. Mahama pledged his commitment to lead a more profitable government due to his experience in government and in opposition.
