Felix Donkor, an NPP communicator in the Ashanti Region, is calling for a fundamental reset within the party to regain power.

He believes the NPP needs to take a cue from the NDC's "reset" agenda and implement significant changes to restore its political fortunes.

Donkor emphasized that this defeat should humble the party and prompt necessary actions to come back stronger.

He clarified that the recent loss wasn't the worst in NPP's history, citing the 1992 elections where they secured 30% of the vote, compared to 41% in the recent elections.

Donkor stressed the need for a collective reset, from the lowest-ranking member to the highest, emphasizing transparency, attentive listening, and responsive governance.

He also called for an end to internal machinations that may have contributed to the defeat.

Donkor cautioned against premature apologies, suggesting that the party should focus on introspection and resetting before making amends, specifically regarding Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
