The role of the General Secretary has become one of the hottest jobs in the GFA set up as numerous names are being linked with the top job.

Former Division One League Board Chairman,  Kwame Ntow Fianko has advised the newly elected FA Prez. Mr. Kurt E.S Okraku to appoint a strong General Secretary who understands football like Emmanuel Gyimah.

This counsel comes in the wake of several names including Naa Odofoley Nortey, Prosper Harrison Addo, Ibrahim Saani Daara all been linked to the soon to be vacant job.

"Kurt needs a strong general secretary who is very objective and understands the game like Emmanuel Gyimah if he wants to succeed". Ntow Fianko told Kumasi based OTEC Fm

"If Kurt wants to succeed, he needs someone who will be dedicated service for him in case he (Kurt) is not around.

"The EXCO will never see the way forward if there is no strong general secretary to control the staff" he added

The General Secretary will be vital to the operations of the new GFA as such they need to appoint a strong vibrant character.
