Ghanaian defender Nurudeen Abdulai delivered an impressive all-round performance as Dunfermline Athletic battled to a 2-2 draw with Partick Thistle in the Scottish Championship.

‎The 21-year-old centre-back, who joined the club from Medeama SC last summer, started the contest and played 88 minutes at KDM Group East End Park in a match that swung dramatically from start to finish.

‎The visitors struck first through Logan Chalmers just 15 minutes into the game and carried a narrow lead into the interval.

‎But Dunfermline responded shortly after the restart, with Abdulai playing a pivotal role in the equaliser five minutes into the second half. The Ghanaian defender capped his energetic display by getting on the scoresheet, inspiring the hosts’ comeback effort.

‎Partick Thistle, however, were not done. Alex Samuel restored their advantage after being set up by Tony Watt, seemingly putting the visitors on course for a valuable away victory.

‎Yet the drama continued deep into stoppage time when Kieran Ngwenya found the net to rescue a crucial point for Dunfermline, sparking celebrations among the home supporters.

‎Abdulai’s commanding display further underlined his growing influence at the Scottish second-tier side. Since his move from Medeama, he has established himself as a key figure in the squad.

‎He has now made 16 league appearances this season, scoring once, and 19 appearances across all competitions, a testament to his consistency and importance to the team’s campaign.
