Asante Kotoko recorded their first victory of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League season after defeating Inter Allies by a lone goal at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Obed Owusu’s second-half strike was the difference between the two sides and ensured newly appointed Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin tasted his first victory since taking over a month ago.
Kotoko have now amassed 4 points from their opening two games of the new campaign.
Inter Allies have lost their first match of the season after their opening day mauling of Bechem United.
