Observing from my corner:

Mr. Baako says he hasn’t watched #whowatchesthewatchman , yet he attempts to narrate portions of the video as if he watched it over and over. If he wants to convince me and other like minded people, he must go and watch the video and come back well.

1. Ken has not said that Baba Tunde gave Anas $100k. It is rather Anas who says “at that time they buy me with $100k” and the prosecutor enquires if it was the two of them who bought him and Anas responds that “no it is Baba Tunde, he now wanted to fight for himself” if he admits that, that video was a pre-trial confab then he has also confirmed the identity of Anas in that video.

2. Mr. Baako should watch the video before commenting. The state prosecutor asked Anas how much has been transferred to her and Anas says $50k. What account tracing is Mr. Baako referring to? The video says it all. We don’t need an interpretation of what we can see and hear for ourselves. Did she ask that or not?

3. Again, how can Mr. Baako know what the state attorney meant when she said to Anas “we all need money...we all want money”.....and Anas exclaimed “Exactly !” ? Why would you be the one to explain it to us when we heard her and Anas for ourselves.

Mr. Baako also says the woman was referring to the general attitude of Greed by Ghanaians. When she said “we all want money...we all need money” Really? It’s laughable.

4. Hafiz has said that the evidence of the bribe he paid Anas is his freedom since 2009. And Mr.Baako is saying he should come and prove where he gave Anas $50k? And we are supposed to take this as a defense. “Please tell that to the marines”.

Mr. Baako’s only defense for Anas confessing to paying DCOP Adu Poku a handsome $75k is that “ Anas denies that vehemently” and that should pass for the truth right? Funny! Unsurprisingly Anas on his numerous interviews yesterday also says he denies it and so we have to take that as the truth.

May I then suggest that all those who JUST denied wrong doing in any of Anas’s pieces including the loose talking Kwesi Nyantekyi are deemed clean just by Merely denying.

5. From all Anas’s videos, he is never seen. Interestingly, in the State Attorney’s office Anas is in the video and not the one filming. Yet We have been made aware that it was Anas who did the recording. I beg to differ. Anas was being watched but he never knew it.

He thought he was in good company.
I challenge tiger eye to show their copy or version of the pre-trial confab if they so claim Anas or tiger eye did the recording for our comparison.

6. I concede that, the video recorded in New Town was filmed by Anas and in the fashion of tiger eye, you don’t see the investigator. However, I get worried when I hear Mr.Baako and those who speak for Anas saying, he was investigating the suspects. It’s interesting. Anas does undercover investigations so he is not expected to introduce himself and reveal his identity and mission. In that video we are told he recorded during the investigation, he is fully introduced by Baba Tunde, the man he Anas says gave him $100k. He Anas also brags about himself and how despite the small body he is very influential. Was that an investigation? What type of investigation will that be?Undercover or what? There’s more he says in that video but i will save the rest for another day. Thankfully Tiger eye admits it’s their work.

I don’t see #whowatchesthewatchman as an attack on journalism as Anas claims, I rather see it as a brilliant attack in corruption regardless of who is perpetuating it...be it a politician, a journalist or civil or public servant.
