Kojo Marfo, a renowned broadcaster and the host of Abusua Nkommo on Abusua FM, has criticized the National Peace Council for labeling the OccupyJulorbiHouse protesters' acts as unlawful.

Speaking on Abusua FM, Kojo Marfo voiced his displeasure with the Peace Council, saying that they should stop talking if they have nothing significant to say.

He declared on live radio, "If they don't have any work to do, they shouldn't bother the rest of us."

He continued by saying that if the Council knew how to do its job, it would condemn the protesters now rather than waiting for it to happen.

The outspoken journalist emphasized further that the Peace Council was useless if it did not realize that the actions of the first day of the #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest may cause unrest in the nation.

Additionally, he claimed that the council ought to have denounced the police for detaining and abusing the protestors because what had transpired could have sparked a coup.

“Instead of engaging the government on the various issues affecting the populace, with the aim of implementing proactive measures to alleviate pressure and foster peace, the council is only criticizing the protestors,” he fired.

Mr. Marfo suggested that the Council should think about asking the government to do everything within its power to guarantee that the people lived comfortably.

He also urged the leaders to stand up and put the needs of the country ahead of their own interests.

"They should be mindful that they won't be able to sleep if we live in a country where people only think about themselves," he cautioned.
