Astute morning show host - LutherKing Adinkra, popularly known as Kwame Adinkra has joined Kumasi based Pure FM.
The multiple award winning broadcaster recently was 'fired' by the EIB Network, over his refusal to partake in one of their outdoor programmes.
Pure FM is owned by Adinkra's former employer Dr. Kwaku Oteng.
Sources available to the Ghana Guardian indicates, Kwame Adinkra is expected to officially start work with the Patasi-based radio station which is under Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN Ghana), today 8th January 2019.
It has also been established that he still has a few years to do with EIB in view of the fact that his contract period has not elapsed with other radio stations said to also be in a rush to sign him on at an undisclosed fee.
Kwame is undoubtedly the face of radio and entertainment in Kumasi who appeals to kids, young and the old in society. He is seen as a role model for many young people in the country.
He respects tradition and culture and has a firm root at the Manhyia Palace. He is a member of the Five-member planning committee set up by His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II (King of Asante) to work out the modalities of Otumfuo Charity Foundation Teachers Award.
