Omanhene of Oguaa traditional area, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II, has thrown some venom on the members of the Ghana Football Association delegation led by president Kurt E.S Okraku for turning up late for a scheduled visit to his palace.

"Chairman I have accepted your apologies, we are always learning and time keeping especially in our country is bringing the country down"

"We  have our own time and that is Ghana time  at functions If a programme is supposed to start at 9 we start coming at 10"

"That one hour If we are to put it into productive use we will see that is a lot of money If we don't change our attitude with time Ghana will lose a lot of money"

"And what the government is doing with its efforts to make this place a better place will all be in vain"

" What we were expecting is that If for some reason you couldn't make the time at least a phone call should have come to tell us you were been held up because of something but we were kept in the dark and we sat down"

"In any case once you have apologized we accept it and it's closed" the Oguaamanhene stated.

The GFA delegation led by the President paid a courtesy call on the chief to seek his support, as well as the support of the people of Cape Coast for Thursday's match with South Africa.

Among the team from the GFA who visited the Oguaa manhene's palace include coach of the Black Stars Kwasi Appiah, welfare Officer Stephen Appiah, Central Regional FA boss Robert Duncan among other members.

The Black Stars will on Thursday host the Bafana Bafan of South Africa in the 2021 Afcon qualifier before playing Islanders Sao Tome and Principe three days time away from home.
