Newly promoted Ghana Premier league side, Accra Great Olympics have appointed former Brekum Chelsea striker, Emmanuel Clottey as their new captain for the 2019/20 GhPL season.

Clottey joined the wonder club as a free agent from Cafetaleros de Biscucuy in Venezuela.

Olympics identified Clottey as a player with the football intelligence required to adjust to the new football style of the Accra-based side.

Olympics while announcing the new captain on Twitter posted

"Captain Fantastic!!!! #EmashieKpintinnnn #OlyDade."

Clottey was an integral member of the Brekum Chelsea team that represented Ghana in the 2012 CAF Champions league.
