Coach of Accra Great Olympics, Annor Walker has opened the doors to Kumasi Asante Kotoko as reports continue to link the experienced gaffer with the club.

He helped Accra Great Olympics finish 7th on the league table but at some point in time they were challenging for the league title but fell on the wayside.

The experienced gaffer managed to get the best out of a group of youngsters with a blend of some experienced players.

Kotoko on the other hand are reportedly on the look out for a new coach after Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto failed to win any silverware for the club.

The porcupine warriors failed to win the league title after they were beaten to it by Hearts of Oak while Berekum Chelsea also eliminated Kotoko from the MTN FA Cup.

Despite signing an 18 month contract when he took over the club, the Portuguese is facing the sack at the Kumasi based club with Annor Walker among the name of coaches likely to take over.

"I am ever ready to lead Asante Kotoko as their head coach should they reach out to me, but honestly no official member from the club has called or approached me," he told Kumasi FM.

Mariano Barreto took over the club in the second round of the Ghana Premier League season after replacing Maxwell Konadu who was sacked in December 2020.
