Abu Dhabi: Oman arrived in Abu Dhabi on Saturday for the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019.



Pim Verbeek's squad will play in Group F of the Continental showpiece with four-time champions Japan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan for company.



The 2017 Gulf Cup champions are aiming to continue their recent run of good form, with an eight-match unbeaten run seeing their FIFA World Ranking surge to 82.

Oman will open their AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 campaign against Uzbekistan at the Sharjah Stadium on January 9, before taking on four-time champions Japan and Turkmenistan respectively.
