Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Microfinance and Small Loans Center (MASLOC), Mrs. Afia Akoto Nixon says it will take only the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to transform the lives of Ghanaian youth for good.

Afia Akoto made this remark while speaking at the launching of Madina NPP Youth Wing in the capital, Accra, emphasizing the fact that no other political party cares for women and the the youth.

She said the deployment of the youth in the various sectors of the country’s economy such as the Youth in Afforestation, NABCO, Planting for Food and Jobs indicates the government has laid down policies to support the Ghanaian youth.

“Generally there has not been any government that cares and implements policies that cover a wide range of the youth in this country aside from the NPP. For women this government is doing all things possible to provide helping hands in their various trading activities”, she said.

On women, Afia Akoto disclosed that the President, Nana Akufo-Addo has ensured that 70% of women should be catered for under MASLOC than men.

“The decision to ensure that more women benefit from MASLOC is a good development for the country considering the fact that more women are involved in trading and business than men. It will help us get rid of some perception of women in this country. This is a government that thinks about women and the youth in general because they are the face and future of the country”, she noted.

Also, addressing the gathering, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for La Dade Kotopon, Jennifer Dede Agyabeng urged all NPP members not to repeat the previous mistake which sent the party into opposition for eight years.

She stressed that the development of the country will halt if the NPP goes into opposition.

She emphasized on the need for all members to campaign hard for Ghanaians to retain the NPP in government.
