Osman Bukari has been handed a Black Stars call up for the first time in almost a year since his last Ghana appearance ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup play offs against Nigeria.

The Nantes winger has been a delight to watch in the French Ligue 1 with his impressive form earning him a recall to the Black Stars.

Osman Bukari was snubbed for the 2021 African Cup of Nations tournament by then coach Milovan Rajevac.

His inclusion is expected to bolster the attacking prowess of the team as Ghana take on Nigeria in the double header for a place at FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

He has made 17 appearances for his French Ligue 1 side scoring a goal and providing 3 assists.

Osman Bukari scored when he last played for Ghana during the 2021 AFCON qualifiers against Sao Tome and Principe at the Cape Coast Stadium which Ghana won 3-1.
