Senior Lecturer and political analyst, Dr. Joshua Jebuntie Zaato, has called out lawyer, Martin Kpegu over what he describes as Kpebu's double- standard reactions to arrests by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).

Kpebu was last week detained by the OSP, and was subsequently asked to tender in a landed property as a condition for his bail - in similar fashion as a number of former assigns of the erstwhile Akufo-Addo government.

Despite condemning what he perceived as abuse of power by the state and the high handedness of the OSP against Kpebu, Dr. Zaato, on TV3's Big Issues programme called out the double standards of Martin Kpebu with regards to arrests by the OSP.

"Paul Adom Otchere was arrested by the same office and he went through the same ordeal as you," Dr. Zaato told Martin Kpebu, who condemned what he was subjected to by the OSP on the programme.

"But when it happened, you were happy that Paul Adom Othchere was going through that and I can show you evidence."

As Martin Kpebu attempted to deny, Dr. Zaato provided the evidence, reading a number of online news articles in which Martin Kpebu supported Paul Adom Otchere's ordeal with the OSP, including questioning a claim by Paul Adom Otchere that he didn't have a landed property in his name to meet his bail condition.

Dr. Zaato also slammed the Majority side of Parliament for being hypocritical for prioritising the arrest of Martin Kpebu by discussing it in the House, but failed to do so when the rights of Paul Adom Otchere were abused.
