Otumfuo convenes Asanteman Council meeting on August 11

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has summoned members of the Asanteman Council to a crucial meeting scheduled to take place on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

The invitation, issued through the Registrar of the Kumasi Traditional Council, Mr. Kwame Adusei Agyemang, emphasises that attendance is mandatory for all members. The meeting is set to commence promptly at 10:00 a.m.

The agenda for the meeting has not been publicly disclosed, but the official invitation notes that it is being held at the directive of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, signaling its importance.

Those expected to attend include:

1.All members of the Asanteman Council

2.Divisional Heads of the Kumasi Traditional Council (KTC)

3.All relevant parties

Copies of the invitation have also been sent to the Chief of Staff at the Manhyia Palace, the Registrar, and the Asanteman Royal House Committee (ARHC).
