Former President Akufo-Addo is recognised for consolidating the Dagbon peace process and implementing major policies such as Free Senior High School, which significantly expanded access to education.

Former President Kufuor is credited with initiating the Dagbon peace process and introducing key social interventions, notably the National Health Insurance Scheme, alongside steering Ghana through the HIPC initiative that stabilised the economy.

The event will be chaired by Sam Jonah, who will also receive the gold medal for his contributions to business leadership and national development.

Other notable honourees include Alban Bagbin, Cassiel Ato Forson, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Johnson Asiama and Christian Tetteh Yohuno, among others.

The dinner marks the 27th coronation anniversary of the Asantehene and will be held under the theme “Advancing Peace and Sustainable Economic Development Through Royal Vision.”
